Closest focus is 40cm from outermost edge of the lens (F 8, 50mm). Focus on the program wheel of the camera.

A nice lens, I came across it by chance and for cheap. At F 4 it's soft at the edges, but gets much better when stopped down.. It has good capabilities of close focussing for such a wide lens. Carefully aligned there is no distortion. The focus range isn't bad for street photography.
