The
grip is a HorusBennu leather grip attached to a Manfrotto 200PL style quick
release plate, a special plate made by HorusBennu for their grips. It
allows you to use the camera, with the grip attached, on a Manfrotto
RC2 Rapid Connect Adapter.

Closest focus is 22cm from
outermost
edge of the lens, F 8. Focus on
the program wheel of the camera.
A very nice lens, even wide open. At F 3.8 there is just a hint of
shaded edges and it's a bit soft, but gets better when stopped down. My
lens has some fungus, so part of the softness may be due to this. It
has good capabilities of close focussing for
such a wide lens. Carefully aligned there
is virtually no distortion.
