Closest focus is 75cm from outermost edge of the lens, F 8. Focus on the program wheel of the camera.

Picture  sharpness is o.k., even wide open, but there is a hint of shaded upper edges. Stopped down it's good. However there is a flare or weak contrast in all images. This wasn't the case on film and could be treated by your picture processing software. There are better lenses with the same range. It has some capabilities of close focussing due to a close focus setting.
