outermost
edge of the lens. Focus on
the program wheel of the camera.
This old
lens
was sold for Braun Paxette cameras. Even though focus was o.k. with
full format and the second adapter, it's out of focus and I haven't yet
found out why. I'll have to try again later. Wide open
it's blurred. Stopped down it's better. At F 16 there is just a bit of
diffraction. Diffraction is a problem of the APS-C sensor size,
not the
lens (see comparison page). It's
astonishing, how short and light the lens is, still smaller and lighter
than the 35mm. A very small lens.
The M39 Paxette Mount is the same thread as ordinary M39 (Leica), but
a different flange focal distance. Please refer to the Paxette
