Closest focus is 80cm from
the outermost
edge of the lens, F 8. Focus on
the program wheel of the camera.
Although this is an older lens which can be found for low prices, it's
decent. Wide open it's soft, but o.k. for F 2, at F 8 it's fine. At F 22 it
only gets a bit blurred due to diffraction, but better
than other lenses. This is a problem of the APS-C sensor size, not the
lens (see comparison page). The lens has
no
close focussing capablities. It is relatively small and
lightweight, particularly for a F 2 lens. A nice lens which offers 1
usable stop more than standard.
